1. Overview
This privacy policy describes how Noomua handles data collected through Listify AI, our Shopify app for generating product listings from images. By installing Listify AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data we collect
When you install and use Listify AI, we collect the following:
- Store information. Your Shopify store domain and merchant-level account information provided by Shopify during installation.
- Product images. Images you submit for listing generation. These are sent to the Anthropic Claude API for processing in real time and are not stored after generation completes.
- Product names. The product name you enter alongside each image, used as context for generation. Not retained after generation completes.
- Presets. The tone, vendor, product type, and style preferences you save in the app. Retained across sessions so your settings apply consistently.
- Generation counts. A count of listing generation requests associated with your store, used for usage tracking and billing purposes.
3. Data we do not collect
- Personal data from your customers.
- Payment or billing information — all billing is handled entirely by Shopify Billing.
- Cookies or browser-level tracking data.
- Product image content after generation is complete.
4. How we use your data
- To generate product listings. Your product image and name are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to produce titles, descriptions, tags, and SEO content.
- To apply your presets. Saved presets are loaded at generation time to keep your output consistent with your store style.
- To track usage. Generation counts are used to manage plan limits and billing through Shopify.
- To maintain and improve the app. Aggregate usage patterns help us understand how the app is used and what to improve.
5. Anthropic Claude API
Listify AI uses the Anthropic Claude API to process product images and generate listing content. When you initiate a generation, your product image and name are transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing.
Anthropic does not retain submitted images beyond their API processing window. We do not store product images on our servers at any point. Anthropic's data handling is governed by the Anthropic Privacy Policy.
6. Data sharing
We share data only as required to operate the app:
- Anthropic — receives product images and names at generation time for listing generation. No other personal data is shared.
- Shopify — manages installation, authentication, and all billing. Shopify's platform privacy policy applies to data handled there.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
7. Data retention
- Preset data and generation counts are retained while your app subscription is active.
- Product images and names are processed in real time and are not retained after generation completes.
- When you uninstall Listify AI, your store data (presets and generation counts) is deleted from our systems within 48 hours.

8. GDPR and CCPA
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or California, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about your store. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@noomua.com.
Listify AI registers the mandatory GDPR compliance webhooks required by Shopify: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.
9. Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- Billing is handled by Shopify's secure payment infrastructure — we do not handle payment data directly.
- We do not store product images or sensitive credentials on our servers.
